The third one seems really unlikely, at least for me, I would rather suffer through eons of mediocracy conversation before expressing anger or protest for the sake of politeness (people pay good price for a cushy seat, water served in a tiny plastic glass, and the chance to be polite three thousand miles above earth)…”

My inaction, stiff neck, and investment of time in thinking about potential awkwardness in a claustrophobic location somewhat sums up FOXRIVER: a self-proclaimed social animal, a bit aloof, a bit under-sized, a bit pretentious, enjoy eating, and loves storing energy that does not belong in a society where labeling and categorizing over-rule simply act of being.

The space does exist within a larger educational institution. Its location its on a need to know bases. Although it is not hidden, it does bear a second look to be noticed. People with eye of curiosity would find it, like prince to princess, bee to honey. Education is a mystery to me. Art education is a mysterious cake with a cherry and a black hole on top. But I do know this: Art is about people. Art is a community of peers exchanging ideas and stories. Before a good work of art is produced, a large network of cause and effect is implicated in the process of dialogue and discussion. FOXRIVER is just a small cell of a larger organ, larger animal. But it is happy, contend, and ready to sail, ready to fly. (Though probably not going to turn its head just to be polite. It has its eyes setting on something ahead.) None of you are strangers now. I have told you my story. Now its time to tell me yours.

Best,

MrC
