this is not an artist portfolio website. even though the works shown here are a good representation of my practice, i cannot say that it is the best way to present it. the paragraphs on the index page does not unify or explain the oeuvre of the practice, thus it is not an artist statement of any kind. (i've always been tempted to use the word "oeuvre" somewhere. its so sexy.)

nor this is a general critique of artist website. i do not have any problem with artists presenting their portfolio online, with a excellent slide shows, general statements of their practices, downloadable CVs, and contact information. If anything, i wish i had enough art pieces and writing to present a comprehensive self-representation.
